Jon Lloyd is a sound artist and composer whose work spans film, experiential projects, and podcasting. Currently residing in Los Angeles, his work is featured internationally.
In 2024, Jon was commissioned to compose the music for Endless Realities, a permanent art installation at Moco London. As a sound designer he currently contributes on several Wondery podcasts. He also sound designs and composes for commercials, including a standout project for XFinity which dropped during the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Jon’s expertise in immersive audio was showcased in 2023 with Dreamcaster, an experiential work developed for the NBA and Michelob Ultra. This project, which introduced a cutting-edge accessibility device for handicapped sports fans, garnered an Emmy for Outstanding Digital Innovation, seven Lions, and numerous other accolades. Jon has also created immersive audio for projects with Amazon, Tool of N.A., Helo, and others.
In 2023, Jon released his debut full-length album, Reanimation. His previous work includes contributing music to the documentary The Thief Collector, which was an official selection at SXSW 2022, and composing for the Apple TV+ docu-series Watch The Sound With Mark Ronson, produced and directed by Morgan Neville.
Jon studied music composition and sound arts at Sarah Lawrence College.
